The Trainers
David David holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy since 1994 and uses his extensive knowledge of orthopedics to make certain all participants running through Spectrum Wellness/ MAX Performance programs have medical clearance to participate. David was also the chief instructor for injury prevention and instruction of back programs and ergonomic assessments for all departments of Penrose Community Hospital from 1999-2002. David was a physical therapist for the United States Power lifting & Weightlifting Federations. He was lead PT for the 1997 National Junior Weight Lifting Championships at NAU, AZ David also founded The Gerstel Cancer Foundation in 2002, a 501 (3) (c) non-profit. Current plans are to raise money for cancer rehab, cancer rehab research, and cancer research.
Aaron Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Science and Health and Fitness Management and is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Aaron is a former strength and conditioning coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also has a wide range of clinical experience within the orthopedic field. He has developed and implemented on/off season throwing programs for a number of professional athletes.
Noah Noah
received a B.A. in Economics from Notre Dame, where he was a walk-on
member of the Fighting Irish Football team. After a four-year career
in the Arena Football League, Noah retired to pursue his Master’s
degree in Biomechanics and train athletes full-time. He has worked
with athletes of all ages and abilities, from girl’s soccer players
to professional football players. Noah is especially passionate
about helping young athletes earn college scholarships.
John John Marshall Is a certified personal trainer with over 10 years experience as a trainer and coach. His training passion comes from his experience as a competitive athlete winning cycling championships in the sprint category competing in the national and and international ranks. Since partialy retiring in 2004, now focuses his efforts in helping other people achieve their goals with his knowledge in training and nutrition from his education from Baylor College of Sports Medicine PFIT program.
Jessica Jessica Patterson is a graduate of the renowned Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, which is affiliated with Columbia University’s Teacher’s College. She is a Certified Health Counselor and member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Her teachers have included Barry Sears, Deepak Chopra, Marion Nestle, John Douillard, and Andrew Weil. In addition to her training in NY, Jessica is completing her studies as a Certified Nutrition Therapist through the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver. Jessica employs an integrative model of nutrition, recognizing each individual has unique needs and life circumstances that help shape and determine their relationship with food. We cannot separate what we eat from how, why, when, where, and with whom we eat. Similarly, we cannot reduce nutrition to mere food—true nutrition is not about willpower or deprivation. It’s about reconnecting with what feeds your entire life so that you can live the life you desire. Emphasizing a healthy relationship with food, Jessica teaches clients to develop lifestyle habits that support lasting health and the nourish the whole self—body, mind and spirit. Jessica holds an M.A. in English and is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher.
